It’s time to sign up for spring courses. You’ve already met with your adviser and developed a degree completion plan. Now it’s time to put it into action. Here are some tips to make sure you don’t miss out on the classes you need.
1. Know your enrollment date. This can be found in your PeopleSoft account under the Student Center page. You will see it on the right side just under Milestones. This date and time is the earliest you can enroll in spring courses.
2. Remember you are not the only one trying to get into these classes. There are a limited number of seats for each class, so you must sign up as soon as possible. You don’t want to be sitting here in January needing one particular class but since it is full you will have to wait until the summer, or worse next fall.
3. Make sure the times you select will fit your schedule for the spring. There’s nothing worse than finding all of your classes but realizing that the times don’t match up with your schedule. Some classes have a limited availability and will require some flexibility on your part. By checking the times with your personal schedule ahead of your enrollment date, you can save yourself the frustration of trying to rearrange your schedule at the last minute.
