Taking summer classes is a great way to get ahead or even lessen your necessary workload in the fall. As you begin to move into upper level courses, it becomes convenient to only have to take three or four classes as opposed to five or even six! Taking some time to deal with one or even two of these classes during the summer is a great way to reduce your class load. However, keep in mind that the summer term is shorter than a regular semester so you will be required to complete the same work in a shorter time period.
The summer is a wonderful time to take on an internship. Hire@TU has a lot of opportunities to get an internship for the summer. It’s a great way to build work experience for your resume and apply your class knowledge. It’s also an opportunity to explore the possible careers you have interest in. In addition, you could complete your BUSX 460 internship class at the same time. So regardless of what you plan on doing this summer, try and make it work for you. Take this time to help prepare yourself for your future class schedule and your future career.
